Past Art and ArchitectureIn ancient Egypt art was made for the gods and goddesses. Different ways that the artists honored them was by painting, craving, and making buildings(temples, pyramids). The Egyptians had many different symbols in there art work, most of it was represented with colors in paintings. Blue was for the Nile River, Red was for power, and yellow was for the sun. Often gods were drawn as animals because animals were sacred and they wanted the same resect for the gods and goddesses. The Egyptians like to make different buildings for place of worship. Temples were a big architectural think in Egypt, they were for worship. Artists would crave into the temples to describe the god or goddess that the temple was for.
